What We Do

Landlord Trends

What is it?

Quarterly tracking survey of private landlord attitudes

A quarterly tracking study of private landlords operating in the UK. Landlord Trends explores landlord sentiment, profiles their portfolios and examines intentions to produce a comprehensive, predictive overview of the PRS and its emerging trends. It complements our Tenant Trends product perfectly.

The research is run in partnership with the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) and leverages their ~100,000 strong membership base to reach c. 750 professional landlords every quarter. Around a third of the questionnaire content is rotated on a quarterly basis, ensuring the survey remains relevant and reactive. The core questions remain consistent each wave to allow ongoing tracking.

Launched in 2006, we have built a rich repository of long-term trend data on many of the key issues measured in the programme.
